Here are two slightly recipes for sweetener blend.
I prefer the first recipe because it has a VERY close taste to table sugar.
The second recipe is for people who can’t tolerate Xylitol. Xylitol can cause stomach upset and diarrhea. Most people can adjust to it by starting off with small quantities and gradually increasing. Some people never adjust, if this is YOU, using just Erythritol is just fine!
IF you prefer “sweeter” simply add more Stevia. However, only increase the sweetness by 1/16 teaspoon at a time. If you add too much, you will get a bitter taste on the back of your tongue.
- Put the ingredients in a small bowl and stir 5 or 6 times. This is especially important if you are using the blend that includes STEVIA ... you want to distribute that one teaspoon throughout the other ingredients.
- Add the ingredients in a spice blender, coffee blender, Ninja or NutriBullet type blender.
Give it a buzz for about 30 seconds. You are looking for a fine sugar like consistency … not quite as fine as icing sugar.
- Store in a glass jar with an air tight lid.
