What Are Fat Bombs?
Fat bombs are usually made by combining ingredients such as butter, cream, coconut oil, nuts, and seeds. They were originally developed for people following a Ketogenic diet. The Ketogenic diet emphasis a high fat, moderate protein and very low carb intake in order to burn fat instead of carbohydrates. Many diabetics find the Ketogenic Diet to be the key to keeping control over their blood sugar levels.
We’ve compiled a great selection of delicious fat bomb recipes for you.

Blackberry Coconut Fat Bombs – Paleo
One of MY challenges with low carb eating is walking past all the wonderful fruits in the produce section of the grocery store. I LOVE fruit and often miss it. Molds for Fat Bombs
When I first started making Fat Bombs I discovered that my silicone muffin flats were way too big. I ended up using plastic ice cube trays. Though they were almost the right size, getting the fat bombs out was a bit of a process. I’d been looking at the silicon mini-muffin trays and decided to give them a go. PERFECT. Not only were they the perfect size for my bombs, but it was so easy to pop the bombs out without damaging them. A month later I got a square shape tray and the rose shaped individual molds. I love the individual molds because when the bombs are solid, I just dump them all into a zip lock plastic bag and keep them in the freezer until I want one.
Here are the molds I am now using … there are loads of other shapes to choose from, just make sure they are small enough!

Coconut and Cinnamon Keto Fat Bombs
These are so FAST and easy to make … less than five minutes and you are done. Another 30 minutes in your freezer and they are ready to eat. Please NOTE: Coconut BUTTER is not the same as coconut oil.
Blueberry Fat Bombs
I think these are so cute! I prefer the whole berry version to the pureed version because it is not as grainy and I love biting into a frozen berry. It is like candy. You can easily find coconut cream in most large cities either in the super store ethnic aisles or in ethnic groceries. It is harder to source in smaller centers so here is my favorite Thai brand (very creamy) from Amazon. The price is for six cans which is a pretty competitive price (be sure to factor in shipping).
Cream Cheese Clouds
Easy to make and addictive, straight out of the freezer. If you are Diabetic or just watching your blood glucose levels you shouldn’t use Splenda. Use Stevia or Xylitol instead. Just your choice of sweetener to taste.
Coconut Butter
A few of these Fat Bomb recipes call for Coconut BUTTER. Coconut Butter is NOT the same as Coconut Oil.
Here is the brand I love and use. Be sure to click on the link for TWO jars because for some weird reason buying two jars is CHEAPER than buying one jar. Doesn’t make much sense to me, but I’m not going to complain!

I like MY popsicles on a stick! The recipe includes a strawberry version.
Keto Fudge
I thought my fudge eating days were gone until I tried these. Rather than putting the “batter” into a pan and then cutting into squares, I just fill my silicone mini-muffin molds … easier and no mess when cutting.
